Acclaimed drummer Dwayne "Cook" Broadnax hails from Philadelphia, PA and was a member of famed vocalist Little Jimmy Scott's band for 14 years until Mr. Scott's death in 2014. Broadnax has also worked with with Vanessa Williams, Kevin Eubanks, Johnny Copeland, Savion Glover, Eartha Kitt, Rachell Ferrell, Bill Doggett, Illinois Jacket, James McBride, and many others. He's appeared in "Malcom X" by Spike Lee, the television series "Madame Secretary," and toured around the world numerous times.
