Jim Ridl, a New York City-based jazz pianist, composer and teacher, performs and records worldwide with a variety of jazz artists, including Joe Locke, Paul Jost, Dave Liebman, Tim Armacost and the Mingus Big Band. He is well-known as a “musician’s musician.” Past performance residencies include the 55 Bar and Soapbox Gallery. Jim has 9 recordings of his own, including two released in 2022: Ask for the Ancient Path and Standards Live. Jim’s 10 year tenure with guitar master Pat Martino included international duet and quartet performances.
